It's been a little over a month since I began my BLOG and time has escaped me...why is there never enough time?!
I have been busy with a few small house projects...haven't tackled the real projects that are ever on my mind...better to accomplish a few projects than none at all!
Patio Quick Deck Project
One project that brings me much satisfaction is being able to enjoy my small back patio, especially during these great sunny days in Sonoma. So, to enjoy it even more...I needed to cover the existing patio cement slab.
I completed lots of research on wood deck tiles and after all the positive reviews, placed my order. All was conveniently shipped to me and all arrived without any damage to one single tile! I like that! :~)
So, over the course of a few hours each day on one weekend, I completed the wood deck and covered the hideous cement patio...hated that ugly cement look!!!

These are a few shots of the deck tile material and work in progress...kind of like this BLOG...I want to be as happy enjoying my deck as the two pictured on front of the deck tile packages...but, hopefully with a little tan from the sun!
Oh yeah... I had to hurry and complete this job, because Zorro (my cat) kept giving me the eye during the process...wanting me to hurry up, so that he could go out and lay out on the new deck...HIS new deck!That look means serious business...no goofing around!

As a reward to myself, for a job well done...I enjoyed a feast of colorful and healthy food with some wonderful green tea infused with pomegranate juice and iced for the hot weather...More on my other completed project, later.
